1. Answer the following questions.

(i)  When everyone wants a clear sky, what does the rebel want most?
Ans: When everyone wants a clear sky the rebel wants it to rain.

(ii) If the rebel has a dog for a pet, what is everyone else likely to have?
Ans: Everyone else is likely to have a pet cat.

(iii) Why is it good to have rebels?
Ans: It is good to have rebels because we get to see the way in which society looks towards him/her and if that is negative we will work on ourselves to not be a rebel.

(iv) Why is it not good to be a rebel oneself?
Ans: It is not good to be a rebel because it makes us intolerant towards the choices of others and may also feel unwanted and excluded from the group.

(vi)Why does the rebel choose to wear fantastic clothes? 

Ans: When the rebel sees everyone else dressed in a uniform, the rebel chooses to wear fantastic clothes.

3 Answer the following

(1) Why do rebels always contradict others? 

 Ans:The rebels always contradict the others because they wish to stand out to be different and distinguish themselves from the crowd. They wish to retain their voice and preferences as well as opinions rather than blindly following the crowd.

 (2) Why does society disapprove of the rebels? 

Ans:The rebels do not conform to the norms and conventions followed by society at large. They have their own. opinions, unique thinking, and are different, at times even go to the extent of contradicting and contradicting others, merely to highlight their perceived uniqueness.

4. Read the following stanzas and answer the questions given below them:

1. Stanza 

(1) With reference to the above extract, do you think it is good to be a rebel?

Ans:No, to go against the flow just to show that you are different or to prove your superiority is wrong. Unnecessarily breaking the rule unless there is some noble cause is not acceptable.

(2) Can there be a good reason behind remaining silent when everybody else is speaking? 

Yes, sometimes people keep arguing unnecessarily out of their ignorance of the entire and actual situation. In such situations, a wiseman stay silent. 

(3) What must of a the main motto of a rebel, in your opinion.

The main motto of a rebel is Bringing about the change.

2. Stanza 

(1) What decides the choices made by the rebel? 

Ans:The rebel's choices are based on what society would not accept or agree to.

(2) Who do you think is the character of rebel based on?

Ans:The character of rebel is based on a young child. 

(3) What does the rebel do?

Ans: The rebel defies others.
