Natural Calamities

Natural calamities are sudden and destructive events caused by natural forces that result in significant damage to life, property, and the environment. These include earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, hurricanes, droughts, volcanic eruptions, and landslides. Such disasters can strike without warning and often leave behind widespread devastation. For example, earthquakes can destroy buildings and infrastructure, while floods and tsunamis can sweep away entire communities.

Natural calamities not only affect humans but also disturb wildlife and natural habitats. The aftermath of these disasters often brings diseases, food shortages, and homelessness. Though we cannot prevent natural calamities, early warning systems, proper disaster management, and awareness can help reduce their impact. It is also important to take care of our environment, as human activities like deforestation and pollution increase the risk of such disasters. Being prepared and acting responsibly can save many lives and reduce the destruction caused by these powerful forces of nature.
